Welcome to Brienzwiler!

A warm welcome to Brienzwiler! Enjoy a stroll through our small, idyllic village with its well-preserved, partly historic wooden houses. Let the sun pamper you and breathe in the fresh air—far away from heavy traffic.

Take in the stunning views: from Wilerhorn over the Brünig Pass into the Haslital valley, down to the valley floor with the military airfield in Unterbach, further towards the Oltschibach waterfall, Hinderburg, and out of the valley towards the lake (if you walk up to the upper village). Or look up to the Brienzer Rothorn and back towards Ballenberg and the village church, both waiting to be discovered.

Explore the surrounding attractions conveniently by post bus, train, on foot, by bicycle, or with your own car.

In our village shop, you’ll find everything you need for daily necessities, along with a post office counter and a cozy coffee corner. Your holiday apartment hosts surely have some great insider tips for you—don’t miss out on them!
